A list of environmentally relevant publications from Council on the Environment members and other media materials related to the environment can be found within the Publication section. A brief description of each section follows below.

Newsletters: UMD produced periodicals from various departments and colleges providing specialized and general news and information on the environment and/or climate change.

Journals: A list of high-impact journal articles (from such magazines as Nature, Science, ...) authored by UMD Council on the Environment members.
